**Update** Got myself a PSG1. Turns out they are heavy and unreliable, and some of the wiring would need major re-doing for this project. So this project is officially scrapped.
Concept pic for a sniper/pistol cross.
I wanted everything in one lump. I want the range of a sniper rifle, the size of a small smg or large pistol and the firepower of an assault rifle. Hmm.
So I started thinking, I could drop full auto, use PSG1 and frame for the extra power and I can use PSG1 upgrades to bring the power up again. Then I could dump the SG1 mag in it and get the same firepower as an assault rifle at a reduced RoF (and semi is quick enough for me with a hicap). Plus I get to keep most of the sniper range in an easily mobile package.
I came up with this. It will require some major butchering and some rewiring,
but I reckon I can do it. The battery goes in the SPAS pump handle, which will
have a blocked end.
