.So, got myself a PSG1, intending to butcher the hell out of it for a high-powered oversize pistol/carbine. Turns out they are heavy and unreliable, and it'll need some heavy re-wiring. So that project is officially scrapped.
Doubt I'll ever skirmish this, to be honest. The list of faults goes on and on.
- It's unwieldy.
- It's heavy.
- It's Very Heavy.
- It squeeks and creaks. Lots.
- The scope wobbles like crazy, I had to get hold of an HK K-clamp scope mount (doesn't fit perfectly).
- It's not actually any more powerful than my other AEGs.
- No-one supports it anymore (no spares or add-ons).
Enough.
It's basically just a prop now, which is kinda cool. And I plink with it sometimes.
